Heroes 4.12 The Fifth Stage Discussion Thread
Yay! They'll work on his being a father to Claire!
Yay! Petrelli dynamic!
Nathan should at least last 5 seasons before biting the dust!
NOTE: Dont reveal more you nor either the 7 original cast, fine the rest for me, but not you, it better if we fans wait, the more wait the better we expect. If Nathan dies HRG has to die before him, and that he is killed by the main villian of the show in the last season and that he dies protecting or saving his brother and daughter in an honorable way, in both their arms, at least dont make his dead (hope he last last season) look stupid, period, my only comment here.
.... could happen...?
If you want me ill be watching Lost, a show that makes sense with real writers that dont change their mind about storylines after they've already aired and can actually kill off a character and leave it behind them.
And to think I used to be one of the ones defending Heroes in the Lost boards...
Ive just lost all faith in the writers now... and theres better shows out there ie Dexter, lost, pb
Nathan makes the show for me.
Neko
It gets rediculous! Someone MUST die!
At least someone.... They can shoose - Nathan or Nikki...or Matt...
I like lost coz they have guts to do this (kill off someone)
Heroes fits the genre perfectly. I can't think of a single major comic book hero that dies and stays dead... its the point of the story, its the mythology of the Hero Journey and the archetypal representation of such.
For example, look to the archetypal 'Fool' and then compare it to Hiro. Like the most famous Fool, Parsifal, Hiro begins as a shiftless dreamer and is then sent on a quest. Parsifal, reaches up, above his head to retrieve the Spear of Destiny... Hiro does the same when stealing Kensi's sword from Linderman....
There exists much more to this story than a simple story line. Death and resurrection play an important part in the Hero's Journey, I doubt that it has to do with Kring not having the balls to kill a character, but rather, just as with Comic book stories, the metaphor of death/resurrection, beating a flaw, only to have it reappear, stopping an evil only to see it arise again... can fit into a much deeper storyline if you choose to see it as such.
Peace...
Nathan's da best!!!
he is coming back!!!!!!!!
I hope they give him more screen time, because no offense Heroes under uses it character's alot.
Plus I'm so tried of the wincing Claire.
