  • Eidetic · 7 months ago
Very mild spoilers but it'll be good to see her come back. Her acting is pretty damn good and the character is a very good one to have around.
  • HEROGUY · 7 months ago
yep shes the new villain taking out all the previous building 26 employees crazy! dont let micah find out lol
  • billy-the-kid · 7 months ago
What was the point of a fight that no one could see?

How did Peter get Sylars abilities and how did sylar get flight?

The So a lot of you called Sylar is Nathan and Nathan is Sylar.

You know what's going to happen he is going to find out what Matt done and go after everyone who had a part in this.

In the end did it look like Peter was eyeing Nathan pretty hard?
  • SomeGuy · 7 months ago
The point, my friend, is a very simple one. Lower rating = less money = less visual effects = more focus on characters shape shifting than seeing an epic battle between 3 characters we've been waiting to see brawl.

Likely, Sylar will come back, and probably will go after Matt Parkman. But I think, other than Sylar, Matt is probably the most dangerous of them all by the way his abilities have evolved and could actually stand a chance against Sylar. Yes, if Peter gets his full ability back then Matt and Peter can most likely kick Sylar's a$$ lol.
  • SomeGuy · 7 months ago
Also, Sylar doesn't have flight. He can also control himself with Telekinesis and floated down. Sylar doesn't need or want Nathan's ability, plus he was kind of in a hurry so he didn't really have time to take it.
  • Cody · 7 months ago
no, i think sylar was in fact using flight. i think he obtained in from empathy like he did with shapeshifting and doyle's power (which he used on claire.) many of the powers in this show have their own sound effects. telekinesis has that sort of windswept sound, matt's mind control and mind reading has that certain sound i can;t really describe, nathan's flight has sort of a bird sound, which you could hear when sylar landed. that leads me to believe sylar was actually flying. also, when he was controlling claire, there was a sort of child-laughter sound, which makes me think it's doyle's, although i never actually paid much attention to any sounds from his power. watch the episode on nbc again if you don't believe me, but this is what i think happened.
  • SomeGuy · 6 months ago
Yah that's likely the case, but I don't believe so, personally. I was said before most of what Sylar can do (back in season one) was a result of his telekinesis. He's mastered it so well. In season one he flew from a stand-off with Matt Parkman after trying to kill Molly Walker, he slowed his fall from Homecomming when Peter took him down, which he also did for Peter in Volume 3, and he can also likely move people with telekinesis as well. If you think about it, flight and "puppeteering" seem very inferier (sp?) to telekenisis and doesn't fit Sylar's character to get powers that he doesn't need when he already has the superior one. He wants power, and he already has it. Killing Nathan was all he needed to do to get even more power, he didn't need flight.

Done!! Finished!! No More!!! This show now officially sucks applesauce!!! Sylar/Nathan??? Are you kidding me??? What a waste of time!! Next season I'll find something (anything) to do for the hour that Hero's is on. Big Pauly
  • brokenshield · 7 months ago
You know, when I first saw her at the end of the episode I kind of thought it was the third sister (note that Niki and Tracy were two of three triplets given power by Zimmerman).
  • billy-the-kid · 7 months ago
In the end with Peter and Sylar what was going on?

At first it looked Like Peter had the same power as his father but Sylar still has all his abilities.

Sorry but Tracy is the new villain is lame why not give us someone new. They should have a real villain like "the joker" from the last Batman movie. Anyone agree or do I stand alone?
  • SomeGuy · 7 months ago
You're alone. Heroes isn't that kind of comicbook style show. If that were the case, they'd be wearing costumes (please don't recall Ando's costume lol)
  • mama3 · 7 months ago
I think she is a good villian with a lot of people (including Nathan- well "Sylar-as-Nathan") to go after. Plus if she comes in contact with Micah she will have an inner-battle to face. I think it should be a good story line.
  • Think Fast · 7 months ago
I think the Tracy as a villain will be a fine line, esp after what happened in Cold Snap. It will mean that she could easily go either way, esp if they bring Micah back in. As for Sylar/Nathan, I think it will make an interesting story, esp if they basically have "Nathan" learn he is also Sylar and starts a multi-personality thing (which was hinted that Sylar might be developing in I Am Sylar), so they can keep Nathan on and make the Sylar character even more unpredictable (who will he be next week, Sylar or Nathan! dun dun dun).

I think Mohinder will start to have a larger and legit role in the show by trying to help Hiro. Claire will become an agent, possibly daddies partner even. They will bring back Claude (due to fan reqests) at least one episode in the next season, and possibly the Haitian (and possibly just to off him sadly). I think Peter will either have all of Sylar's powers or possibly if he learns to use the ability as SYlar did, "fix" his DNA back to his original power (someone else suggested that)... or they might keep him as a cunning one at a time heroe with a large store of potential powers in Nathan/Sylar for him to use.
  • SomeGuy · 7 months ago
it just dawned on me that Peter has Sylar's original ability, thanks for reminding me. That could very well be the logical answer to Peter getting his powers back.

They better find something good to do with Hiro. As one of the most popular characters on the show, the way his character is heading isn't a good road.

And what happened to Claude? I thought he was supposed to be in this episode? What's the significance of the title exactly? "An Invisible Thread"
  • Paul · 7 months ago
“An Invisible Thread”? Did you not listen to what Mohinder was narrating?
  • Clark1250 · 7 months ago
Good one Paul and I have to say this was one of the greatest episodes and I think Peter has all his abilitys back why else would Sylar morph right back into his old self? Plus I bet Nathan/sylar will come to know who he is and that is old tracy come on now water controll think about it. So wonder what they will have Mohinder and every character barely mentioned doing next season?
  • Bennet · 7 months ago
so it was Strauss hmmm :)
  • keith kilpatrick · 7 months ago
First of all Sylar is yhe ultimate bad guy, he'll definitly have to eventualy come back.Tracy could be a temp. fill in and will go back to the good side.Second, If Peter has the powers of the last person he touched, the last person he touched was Sylar who had a busload of powers.Should'nt Peter have all of them now?
  • nika1792 · 7 months ago
when will be sezon 4 please anyone tell me
  • kingGenesis · 7 months ago
yeah peter should have a butt load of powers but he only took one. but if he keeps the shapeshifting power he could change his dna back to what it was and possiby regain his powers
  • kingGenesis · 7 months ago
season four voulume five redemption (mid-late semptember)
  • Krinshaw2 · 7 months ago
Anyone read the graphic novels. The new one, wow.
  • mama3 · 7 months ago
Didn't Peter say he got all Sylar's powers? He used shapeshifting because it was the best plan- pose as the pres, get Sylar close and inject him with that tranquilizer. Only question did Matt use mind control to make everyone believe it was Sylar they were burning?
  • texaskidd · 7 months ago
no.the body they were burning was probably the original shapeshifter that Noah had frozen
  • mama3 · 7 months ago
Oh that's right, I remember him saying that...My bad.
  • Ben · 7 months ago
I guess I'm missing something....doesn't Nathan have Claire's blood in him? How could he die?
  • Cody · 7 months ago
he never had claire's blood in him. he had adam monroe's in season 2, but i don't think that means he could never get injured or anything. it just healed that nasty injury from peter's explosion. he is claire's father, if that's what you mean by them sharing blood, but nathan doesn't have that ability, abilities are different for most people.
  • ryan · 7 months ago
if nathan is sylar and he has claires ability he should be able to heal the scars left by matt peter did it in season 2? and the future peter could put people in other bodys and take them out hes probaly going to do that to nathan (sylar)
  • William · 7 months ago
The ending of this show pissed me off. Like come on!! First of all Mr. Bennett was brought back to life because of Claire's blood.

Why didn't they just use the same thing to bring back Nanthan and kill Sylar off for good... or are they all just a bunch of morons?

Don't get me wrong... I love Sylar but.. the ending was very cheap. I knew Tracy was going to come back. (Iceman off of X-men has same power.)
  • William · 7 months ago
Me again, I also forgot to say that Peter can only hold onto one power at a time. Even though Sylar has all these abilities Peter can only hold onto one of them because he isn't strong enough yet.

Someone mentioned the idea of DNA sequencing to evolve himself to gain back his power. I like this idea. (Do take in account he is practically a god when he has all of his powers, that is probably why they took them away to begin with.) Mabie make him evolve enough to have a few more, but not overdo it. :P

I'm still in shock cause of El's death. I'll never get over it. But thankfully I still have Tracy around.. She just has a good persona about her.
  • mama3 · 7 months ago
I don't think they really had time to do that. People were gonna be looking for the real Nathan and like whoever said, if the govt saw Nathan killed like that, they would have really gone after the "specials". So I think they were going back to the old company motto of doing whatever it takes to protect each other.
  • mama3 · 7 months ago
Oops- that was a reply to your 1st comment. Sorry =)
  • William · 7 months ago
Matt Parkman could have allowed them to get out easily with Nathans body, he stuck around for them to capture Sylar...

Didn't have time? She must not love her son all that much then.. (Contradiction to the whole series of how it all started. She tried to kill her husband because he tried to kill her baby. But now she doesn't have enough time? Doesn't make and sense.)

They had all the right powers at the right time to do something creative, and they came out short.

I do agree with you that they are heading towards the old ways again.. Seems like a current trend in the show. They have lots of swaying back and forth for allot of things..

Example: Sylar's back and forth swaying through out the whole show..
    1. Was good in the start accidentally killed somone for there power, tried to kill himself.
    2. El saved him and put up his hopes, just to destroy them and make him a bad guy.
    3. Eventually tries to become good again, connecting with a false family, and then connecting with EL once again becoming a good guy.
    4. Turns bad again after the eclipse and kills his only love El. Is evil for a while..
    5. Meets a kid with a microwave like power.. there are some good moments.. story kind of gives u some hope for salvation for him..
    6. Destroys it upon meeting his father..
    7. Some good comes out of him by letting Mika live because of those inspiring words. (You could save us all.) Yet another glimpse of salvation..
    8. Goes further insane by changing into his mother and giving himself hope to become something more.. even president..
    9. Now he is turned into Nathan by Mat Parkman.. He is now once again a good guy... But will he stay like this? I doubt it.. Once he remembers...He will turn again..)

To much flopping around for one character..
  • mama3 · 7 months ago
I agree, Matt could have given them time...and that the show is about Angela's love, but I think that the writers are really trying to put some twists you know. As far Angela, I think she is a little demented and in a sick way really believes that Sylar is Nathan... but mainly I think they are just trying to give us an interesting plot line for next season. And there is potential for an intersting story in Sylar/Nathan, don't you agree.
  • William · 7 months ago
It could be interesting, but there could have been dozens of other interesting plots they could have done in-staid that made more sense.

I think the problem is the fact that the writers are new writers. they need to take the time to review the later episodes and put something in motion that fits, not something that seems like a good idea at the time.

Thew whole entire show has changed and the series is falling from what it once was. There is too much garbage being thrown at us to look like interesting plot twists. They have done it many times and failed to satisfy in the past seasons.

As of right now Tracy's plot twist seems to fit and seems pretty interesting. But Sylar's plot twists are growing far more tedious and to say the least.. tiresome.
  • kingo2007 · 7 months ago
if peter had taken all of sylers abilities after the fight then why didnt he heal himself before he and claire ran off from the room as you seen him run off with a limp

i like the dna re-sequencing idea, thing that would make a really good storyline

could this new company that they have made at the end of the episode be the start of us seeing the claire from the future at the begin of volume 3, the one where she went to shoot peter before he went back in time to shoot nathan, could be a new angle for them to take claire's character to

i think that tracey will be the new villian for the first couple of episodes then micah will turn her back to good an nathan/syler will then become the new villian when he finds out who he really is

    any comments?
  • Mr N · 7 months ago
I wish they hadn't brought Tracy back. Terrible character. Terrible actress. Tracy is about 10 steps down from Sylar being the villain.
  • CJ · 7 months ago
I honestly believe that bryan fuller is well aware of the monumental screw ups the writers have been making since season 2. He came back into the show during this season, and has been repairing it bit by bit since. I mean the dialog is wonderful (at least compared to the garbage we've gotten used to. Like someone else said, they are going towards a season 1 style for the upcoming season 4. Not like everyone sittin around again trying to figure themselves out or anything, because im sure most our favorite characters will be part of the newfounded company. But what i mean is the acting style, camera shots and music, story development and progression which is what we love from season 1, will be back. sorry for grammar ahead of time. pls comment with your 2c
  • Felix · 7 months ago
Oh God.... the ending is very creepy. To much creepy. I finally understand why volume 5 called 'Redemption'
  • Taylor · 7 months ago
I think claire finds out that the new company lied to her and that her real dad is dead and thats why in the past seasons she turned into a bad guy and tried to shoot Peter. I also am very confused why they didnt just heal Nathan with Claires blood like they did for Noah...would have made more sense...get rid of Sylar and introduce Tracy as a new villan....with the same ups and downs as Sylar and the same issues with being good or bad guy w/ her sisters son....bring in the 3rd sister maybe...its kinda cut and paste....I have to agree to some extent that season 4 is predictable...but these writers are thinking ahead a little bit...i mean...thats why they didnt heal Nathan...Claire has to be pissed about something and try to kill Peter in the future?? Although Peter didnt have anything do with with the Sylar/Nathan switch...
  • Clairey · 6 months ago
Peter doesn't know Nathan is Sylar, but surely as soon as he touches him, and can do other stuff than fly for a bit he will realize. Will it tear the family apart again? Cant see him being too happy with what they done!
