Heroes 4.11 Thanksgiving Discussion Thread
Im still going to go with my theroy that sylar had concentrated on Nathans psyical apreance that he suceeded and therefore could not control it as he "didn't touch him", this could be the identiy crisis story. I think.. Lol
Whos gonna die....? uh soo frustrating?
So why does Sylar take Claire's power again in the Petrelli mansion? Saying he won't need more powers after her, he should alreadsy have it.
Also the ship shifting ability he has now is different to the "5years gone" ability, that was from Candice, he said himself
It's really not the same....
I'm so excited for this episode. looks like a gooden!
It's gotta be either Ando or Nathan if we're going to see anything resembling the "previous futures." The reason I would say Ando is more likely than Nathan is we have seen a bad version of Ando using his ability against Hiro. Sylar would likely kill Ando if he also has his power. He could shapeshift into Nathan without killing him.
Isn't it appropriate that Sylar be the one to make the big kill this season?
Also, hopefully Matt puts a bullet in Danko's head... that would kick a.
We don't think he has his old powers except Tk as TK was the only one to ever show in his DNA the others never came up.
when he got the virus he lost all his powers then he healed with Claire's blood and got his ability in his DNA back with was TK.
Now so far in this season we have not seen him use any of his season 1 ability's except for the future episode. So we will have to wait and see if he does some how get them back. ( or maybe the writers #$%^ up )
But at this time it is beleaved that Sylar does not have his ability's from season 1. however he may get them back some how ( i mean anything is possible in this show )
Know he's a zombie too? He can move when he's "dead" and remove the knife himself??
I totally thought nathen was a gonner till i saw the darts.
also Hiro wont die cuz they said they have a huge story planned for next season for him. And apperantly Matt is to kill someone in the finale i'm thinking its Danko.
she cant die it just wouldnt work.
But the end was a bit confusing and anti-climatic...
I don't get why he said the knife hurt, doesn't it always hurt to get stabbed with something for healers, then you just recover quickly?
The "conversations" between Sylar and his mom were a bit... disturbing.
Apparently Sylat has a soft spot for kids, I bet we'll see this continue if he meets Matt Parkman Jr.
My only real complaint is that we're really no farther along than we were last episode with the advancing of the plot.
and Sylar, from the beginning, never had a soft spot for kids. He tried to kill Molly in the second episode remember?
I can't wait till the next episode though
HEROES RULESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Ditto, Michah played into Sylar's need to be "special" which is a stronger core desire for him that is primary, and only feeds into his killing desire. Sort of makes sense. Plus, he was never really "partnering" with Danko, and he does have loyalties to those with powers and a superiority complex over mere 'humans.' So Michah used that as well... but my question is when did Micah become so insightful about Sylar? I can't remember, when did Sylar know Micah and meet him previously? And all his time being rebel?? Hmm, they still haven't explained how Michah pulled that all off or how he knew from the beginning about how he learned abou the whole 'fugative campaign.' I would love to see a flashback episode following rebel's actions during these months... Though, probably not going to happen though with this being the finale already and the next season taking a new turn.
Besides, Peter seemed to have "lost" his abiliies when his dad took them and he hasn't really seemed to gain them back the same way again... first it seemed to be "copied" by touching Tracy and Mohinder, and then losing the previous one, but now he seems to have kept Flying from Nathan without losing it from touching other heroes. Maybe that's the control he has developed? -- Boy did the stinking writers work themselves into a hole this past year!
which in turn made that ability unstable.. it took alot but peter got it under control the first time..yet on kirby plaza when Sylar was attacking Pete got super pissed and lost control and boom..
i dunno its just a thought but i think the current mood of the person is a big factor when he mimiced abilities.. another example is when he went to see issac, issac was all bout changing the world and saving it and such and peter completly agreed and was then able to finish that comic book story board painting fairly quickly. when he flew for the first time he agreed with his brother that it might all just be in his head (the sene on top of the building when petet levitates off the edge towards nathen wich he drew before hand in stickman style)
He absorbed clairs ability threw her fear from sylar and when sylar cut into peters head he healed right away because he was scared.
emotions play a big part i beleive not only peters but the person from who he gets them from at the time.
You saw/heard about the scene that was cut, right? the arc with HRG taking Micha under his wing? they said that while that was cut, they plan to bring that back but in a different way. so my guess is they will flash back and show what he's been up to all this time. maybe HRG did take him in before he lost the authority he had. Micha might not be that insightful, but HRG probably is, enough to educate him on Sylar's issues. not to mention Sylar kinda spelled things out anyway by having those conversations with himself in front of him.
Anyway, love this ep, I just with the finale wasnt next week, this season has finally gotten great. it was already pretty decent in around the middle, but these past few eps (minus last weeks to an extent) have been top noch. looking forward to next week.
he is so useless!!!
anybody got any info on the next season? "Redemption"
What is his plan?
What did he talk about with Micah?
Could someone describe the episode?
In Italy it isn't possible to download it...
I just don't understand why they would sup up Sylar to being immortal before the last episode...Nobody has the power to stop him maybe if Peter's power is evolved by Ando or Touch and Go and he steals Sylars power away from him, Sylar has become a god.
What is up with Hiro? Side effects from Touch and go's magic touch?
Micah’s power is my husband’s ultimate geek dream. :D
Micah’s power is my husband’s ultimate geek dream.
Last but not least, Sylar's new nemesis will be Claire. He will pass onto the hunger and his powers because they are both "especial". wait and watch.
Also when the agents showed up earlier in the episode and Hiro froze time, I don't remember him touching Ando at the moment he stopped time, so if they weren't touching how was Ando able to move while time was supposed to be frozen? Did anyone else happen to catch if they were touching at that time or not?
heroes when started was a uniqe piece of art and is still using the credit of the early seasons .
I hate the way they are ****ing the show I loved it.they've made a clown out of Hiro and Ando it's clear that they didn't know what to do with these characters peter is gone completely!! no sign of HRGand the gray character nathan is doing nothin all I see is ****ing Danko with that ugly pathetic face he;s an a**hole the show is gone guys I'm sorry
Do you feel any different knowing that I absolutely love the show and have loved it since it started....wait, get this....I even loved season 2, and it was only half a season.
what is the story? does it still keep you busy in mind?
all these theories means that you are trying the to love the show when it`s gone. NBC said that they may stop it!!!
everyday there are less people who watch it. if it goes back to its original theme it will be my number 1.
The "I am Sylar" episode, Sylar was put in a situation that should have forced him to die temporarily at least--but some how overcame this problem. How?
It also seems that his telekinesis power trumps every situation all the time. Including his little skirmish with the puppet guy.
I'm really puzzled why people really like Sylar when his character is invulnerable.
I look forward for the next episode where Sylar escapes death yet again.
Why is everybody trying to figure out how Sylar is gonna die? Look, Micah told him that he could save them all. Maybe he can save them, but first they'll have to trust him. That will make him very special. Just a thought...
And I don't want Sylar to die, I love him!
Heroes never dissapoints me!
An interesting story in my opinion is one that makes you believe heroes universe could actually be real. Imagine the bad guys win, but sometime loses, and to be fair the good doesn't always win, but super heroes aren't invincible-- they sometimes die.
The things in the story aren't consistent. Sylar need to die, so that other more vulnerable heroes and super villains can have an even field to have a *REAL* story.
I personally thought the "I AM SYLAR", was interesting, but I know Micah has an innocent heart, but still, knowing who Sylar is and acting completely calm? SPOILER ---What's with the dagger in the back of his head? He is completely invulnerable now. He can't be beaten.
As mentioned above, it was cool to know how Sylar could turn into Nathan. But could he be moving so fast at the snapping guy's flat or at the warehouse with Micah? (same question as for the taxi and the roof).
I loved also the Sylar/Mum identity crisis. We have a better understanding of what's going on in his head but he is still unpredictable.
Apart from that, something is missing. You know usually at the end of the ep. you are just being crazy cos you can't wait the next ep.(as ep.20 did). But for the last 2 ep. i did not feel that way.
I really look forward to "the invisible thread" though hoping it will offer us what we all expect for a long time: Peter having his powers back.
