Dude it starts in the US tonight, us in the UK have to wait until after xmas sometime before its on our tv. Just watch it online somewhere tomorrow

I watched it online from the UK was awesome :) a real step back to season 1 quality, but then I'm biased i've always liked the show, but there was something fresh, deep and oddly foreboding about it. Can't wait for more. Although one thing... the carnival - all I can think is when they were talking about pushing/collecting people to their side, reminded me way to much of pokemon lol, which made me chuckle somewhat innapropriately.

I agree with you for the most part. I really think this could be the golden season we Heroes fans have been hoping for...But then again, Season 3 didn't START poorly either...it kinda wound up that way all on its own...

But I have to say, I was skeptical towards a lot of the season's basic concepts we were informed of, but I have to say, the monkeys that write this show have finally made me eat a good deal of those words!
For one thing, I LOVE HIRO AGAIN!!! Just had to shout that out. I think it was awesome how they reincorporated his ability to time-travel without simply ignoring his sickness. I also like that this time he's actually using his powers in a rather normal, small-scale way; to right the wrongs of his past and hopefully avoid an early death in the process--selfish or not, there's definitely something very human and very normal in that.
And besides, I couldn't help but share in his glee after watching him do what he did for Ando and Kimiko (trying not to spoil it! YA-TAA indeed!)

I like Tracy and Noah! I can already see the horribly written fanfics trying to make a couple out of them....and the thing is, I almost don't mid if that sort of thing becomes canon! I'm not holding my breath anytime soon for that 'ship to sail though. Just saying...All the same, there is a definite onscreen chemistry there. I could see them turning against Angela or something like that......

Sylar. Sylar, Sylar, Sylar....At first I didn't think I wanted to see him back. I still REALLY think he's played out his welcome, but then again, so have Lex Luthor and Joker, but the more you think about it, what's a hero(es) without a good villain. And who would have thought that he would ever become Parkman's nemesis of all people! Brilliant!

I love Samuel too! Seems awfully layered! And not superficially so, as Sylar was. I bet he'll become a rather polarizing character once we find out more about his motives and such. In his scene with Hiro, he even reminded me a bit of our beloved Adam Monroe.
I know it would be asking for much, but I do hope Hiro regrets having some small part in killing Kensei off for good...

Okay, I'm done picking this episode apart one character at a time, but I do think that the show's ever closer to getting back on true form. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, may the writers of this show DON'T screw this up! For the Love of God, don't screw it up! I'll keep watching every tuesday night (Monday night classes!? WTF was I thinking!?!?!), but please don't drop the ball with this great potential!!

I, overall, was very positive about the season premeire. It has potential....but I've been dissapointed before.

With Hiro's mission to make right what once went wrong....I was expecting "Quantum Leap" references in Hiro & Ando's dialoge like all the "Star Trek" references from seasons past.

I am so discusted with this show, I'm fed up. Again they make all the charecters stupid. Example one Instead of Matt telling the guy he found a new route anyone of us who had Matt's ability would have read his wifes mind to see what happened and what his and her intensions were. Example 2: Claire, Again she is stupid going to test her theory at a coledge no less and for those of us who went to coledge we know there are eyes everywhere so once again Clair shows her ability and yet again Daddy is going to fix it. This whole Sylar thing is stupid Now Sylar is only in Matt's head come on give me a break Eventualy Nathan is going to be gone from the show because he was supposed to have died when Sylar Slit his throat.No wounder Bryan Fuller left the show. I would 2. They have gone so far off base from Season one, that this has 2 be the last season , before they embarress themselves.

If I had Matt's power I would feel alot less guilty about telling that guys to find a diff rout then breaking a promise I made to my wife and reading here mind so you are wrong there. As far as Claire well she has always been alittle dumb since season 1 so nothing new there her character stays true to the story. Sylar being in Matt's head is amazing!!!! That is by far the most interesting thing that has happend to Matt in Heroes since he figured out he could tell people what to do with his powers! Over all a great start to a new season, so if your lost and don't understand whats going on Angelo either start from the beginning again and pay attentuion this time or ask any of us ( the true heroes fans ) about what you don't understand or can't believe....

First off I'm one of the biggest Heroes fans out there. Second Your whole concept of Matt is so far off base. I'll break it down for you so you can understand all you have to do is keep up.

First off he never made a promise all he said was he wasn't using his powers like that because he didn't like who he was becoming and feeling like. later in the show we relized why because sylar was in his head.

Second you must not be married, any married man in todays world when his wife cheated on him is not going to tell a guy in not so many words to step off. you will find out if your wife is lying to your face and is up to her old tricks meaning sleeping around no guy who has matt's ability will just use his ability to convay to him to stay away. A man in his position would find it out. Again, he made no promise to his wife so go back and catch up on it.

Third Clair. Clair for 4 yrs now has had no real point to the show, other than being an airhead. Staying true to the story line is what's wrong with the show with Clair. (dummy) They have to Evolve Clair, she is in Coledge now, Time to move with the times...She needs to grow up and find her purpose in the world of Heroes. I know you can't be as Brain Dead as you make your self out to be. For one moment think outside the box. The Prolblem with the show is they have writters thinking like you. You can't go back to Season 1 you have to move forward, and it seems like all the Charecters Personna is of Season 1. I think it is you Navygater that don't understand where the show is going. You keep thinking like it is Season 1. Not 1 of these charecters have Evolved. They are still acting like it is there first day with these powers. And if I'm not Mistakend That is exactly what Bryan Fuller Said on Inside Hollywood. And why He left. The show wasn't moving forward , it kept wanting to go back to Season 1. So in closing before you Cast Loyalty out make sure you have your ducks in a row. Follow up on Stories Back check before you post. Because you just made yourself look Stupid with your Non-factuall Statements of the show.

You can't even make an arguement because what i said is what brian fuller said, why he left. Navygater watch the show again pay attention and ask yourself would I do that if i was in there position. This is what not just me but looking over these post over 4 yrs have said. They are as you would say "Simple Minded". This Season has potential but if history repeats it's self as it has done 2 seasons in the past is, Start Slow, make no real charecter persona seem realistic

Angelo, Claire's point in the show was during the first season "Save the cheerleader, save the world" That's what made her a central point of the story. Other than that I think she's still involved in things because a) her dad is Noah, who seems to play a major role in everything, and b) because she's immortal and a lot of people want that. I will admit that Claire throwing herself out of the window was stupid.

Matt's promise wasn't to his wife, it was too himself. Sylar is taking over his mind and he can't stop it, so that's why he decided not to use his power any more. I will also admit that if I was Matt I would have just read Roy's mind.

As for people using their powers like they just got them, Peter definitely seems to have a handle on his. The super speed knife fight was cool. It also seems like Tracy's power's have developed.

Peter is evolving fine as of this first episode, he does seem to be going through an arc that is quite unlike the others he's gone through. He also seems worlds more confident in his abilities. Claire is indeed being an idiot. Parkman's whole Sylar thing is pretty nice, it gives Quinto a chance to show off his acting; I can see this lending a sense of purpose to Parkman as Sylar's only means of becoming whole again. I actually began to like Tracy more in this episode as well, which was surprising; I HATED her previously.

And as for paraphrazing i did that as for why he left the show I can't State an opinion for why he left the show I gave facts to why he left the show look up Hollywood Insider search Bryan Fuller there it is. How can you say that about Parkmen being cool. See your problem is your equating what happened with Sylar now to last year....I'm saying the whole thing of Parkmen doing that was dumb they needed to have an ending with Nathan or Syler. End one or both for good. Don't keep stringing everyone around.I Prefer Nathan, but None the less. End it. There are to many open Story lines in this Tv Show that need to come together

Parkmen as a character is suffering from what he he did to another human being even one as evil as Sylar and it is bothering him that much we can see. The fact that his wife said to him that he said he would not use his powers anymore and is on board with that plan shows that he made a promise ... maybe you are right and it was to himself and not his wife but either way she knows about the whole not using his powers this and is on board with it. Matt is a good guy and i still say he used his powers to send that guy away rather then read his wifes mind because if he read her mind he would feel guilty. I love what they are doing with Matt and think it is very interesting.

i notice the biggest thing that is wrong with this show is looking at the spoilers there is just to many i think there should be some to get your interest but i have seen everything coming for the first 3 shows other than that i have high hopes for this season i am a huge heroes fan the only things i don't like is the few holes in the story but i over look that and the fact hiro may die this season as his is my favorite but i think the story is going a little slow but this is a good thing since season 1 story went slow i think this is a good sign for this season. but back to the spoilers if you know what is coming then the show isn't as exciting unless you are a hopeless heroes fan like me who just has to know what happens next

This premiere had just one awesume moment ...well.....i liked it....
When peter and that fast moving guy were fighting...that scene was awesume.....

Other than that........the show is losing its main story.......
they had mentioned time and again...that they will be telling about the helix symbol......
that story just got lost.........

they are getting too wayward........too much mixed up...i wonder how they will connect the dots later on........

But i like the series...it has a good background score.....and nice words......which are appealing if u pay attention to it.......

And trully in real life.......i believe an evolution is on the cards.......as predicted by many scientists..that....arnd this 21st century the next step of evolution will take place.......
so.....whu knws.hw many X-men and heroes are already present among us........

he can only have one power at a time now, and only when he takes it. he cant call up his other powers.

So.... i guess they wud be doing that....

peter's power was taken by his father. so his current power is synthetic and it's the one at a time thing. it would be interesting to see if it became like his fathers and he could rob heroes of their powers altogether.

There wasn't a suicide note on the pillow, the whole suicide/murder thing is another mystery that Claire probably have to struggle with. I really loved this episode, it felt like the characters had evolved in a mental way... Claire wasn't so whiney and Tracy was pretty decent..

I loved how Peter used his power for the good and the good fight vs him and that knife guy... Does he have the same power that Dafne had? Is he a speedster? I surely hope danko dies... sorry for my bad spelling, grammar, punctation and everything since I'm not even English/American...

Enough said about that. I love Heroes, I can't really figure out what I feel about the newest season so far. It's kinda both ways. Some thing is better, but some things are worse, so I guess we have to wait and see what comes of this season. I loved the fact that Sylar popped out of the ground and not Nathan :D I want to see some Sylar revenge, chasing Matt or something, that would be awesome!

Yeah bashing someone else’s post is the greatest thing you can do right! If you’re so great at this Heroes TV series why are you not writing for them? Your grammar is terrible and yourself proclaimed greatness is ridiculous. I’m sure the writers and the people who post here, to have discussions must love your opinions!
