Please no more homosexual episodes, young children watch the show. Plus its not needed for a good story line. Remember the children.

There have been sexual story lines that have been quite graphic at times, and also one of the main characters is a cerial killer..... not a childrens show and I would hate to have the story watered down for children. As this story just said the main demo is 18 to 49... I see no reason to make a big deal about this kiss it does not look like Claire even liked it so it prob not gonna happen.

Are you being serious right now? This show, which is shown during the "primetime" hour on Mondays, is definately not targeted towards kids. By your logic, we should remove all the sexual references on the show, the violence, the blood, the murder, the mistreatment of human beings, and the list goes on. If you're kid is watching this show, tell them to watch X-Men on YTV or something instead because that's what it sounds like you want the show to turn into. Do your kids watch Dexter too? I think you should research what a V-chip is.

It's parents like you that also ruing it for gamers too with your dumb logic. "This Grand Theft Auto game has drugs, sex, violence, alcohol, hookers, blah blah blah and my kids are playing it! Boo hoo hoo!". Do you honestly think that M RATED game was meant for kids? Oh but it shouldn't matter right? because your kids are playing it anyways? Who bought the game for them without checking the rating and explicit content on the back placed there specifically for parents? That's what I thought!

Exactly. They might as well take out the Asian characters who speak broken English like Hiro and Ando and colored characters like the Haitian. Oh. And also vision impaired people like Noah Bennet. And maybe heavier looking characters like Matt Parkman.

We live in a society that is starting to accept eveyone no matter who, what, why they are. You should start Maduka. After all, there was an episode of Heroes called "Acceptance." But you probably wouldn't of known, since there's so much bigotry clouding your vision.

Yes plz grow up Sir Bob!! It wasnt even a homosexual scene 1st of all & secondly it added to the fact that we thot Gretchen's crazy butt was stalking her & tryn to kill anybody close to her.. Just enjoy a show & understand that its entertainment.. (Great Entertainment) mind u., Get over ur Fears & enjoy the show.. Besides children who are watching this show already have some kind of visual or physical experience in that aspect!! Im glad they added the Dvr numbers cuz i was getting really worried!!

Ur insane...my 4 year old loves Heroes, try being a good parent and teaching your kids right from wrong yourself instead of expecting the t.v to do it for you. Your children will grow up ignorant if you hide real world things from them.

cerial killer....reminds me of tucan son of sam lol. Yeah, the last season had a ton of graphic violence, the African's head got cut off and Nathan's throat was slit and he bled all over the place. I remember the Highlander show were pretty much every episode had a beheading and it never actually showed it.

Since when do DVR ratings matter? I remember a year ago there was arguments over TV shows being cancelled because not enough people were watching them live which is what advertisers apparently only cared about and instead they were recording them or watching them online. It's about time networks and advertisers start using this statistic. They need to start including Hulu.com and network's own websites to determine how many people watch the show.
  • dozer420 · 1 month ago
I have a feeling that will result in the advertisers buying into Hulu so they can interrupt our streaming with more crappy advertising. It's not so much ratings that matter...its how much revenue it brings, and besides during a show like Heroes even live im eating and hittin the bathroom during commercials anyway.

I'd rather my streaming get interrupted than for the show to get cancelled. many great shows are being cancelled of late and crap like the office keeps going. seriously! what's next? cancel weeds?!

i'm only 16 and my parents don't care cause they know i've seen worse they let me watch hannabal when it came out
brighten up, it's up to the parents if there to watch it so shut up

I am suprised the network doesn't realize the reason it doesn't get first night numbers... no one wants to watch all the commercials! I will record a show that I am home for just to not have to deal with all the commercial interruptions. Its not the show that is dragging their ratings down, its the 20 minutes out of 60 that they are trying to sell us Plavix and Pizza.

can't believe you guys all missed one point!
hey! what's wrong with homosexual? it's not about homosexual themes that you should be worried , rather it's sexual counterparts.
    stop being homophobic please.

I always watch live but I also DVR to rewatch later.

Most of the Heroes fanatics are kinda dumb. I would think that advertisers don't like DVR watchers 'cuz the viewer can FFWD through or ignore the adverts. Why would they want to pay for commercial placement if the DVR crowd can skip them?
  • dozer420 · 1 month ago
That is a great point...never put the advertising into it but that makes a lot of sense. Really DVR fans are smarter to watch later and maybe get out of their house but not only that skip the ridiculous advertising they do during Heroes...I've always felt like Heroes has more commercials than other shows.

So, you're saying that when you watch live TV you diligently sit and watch the commercials between segments? You never get up to grab a drink or hit the lavatory?
  • despo · 6 days ago
not necessarily, I always watch the commercials when I DVR. it doesn't matter. DVR will bring the value of commercials across the board of tv shows and then we're back to which show has more audience which equals a better chance that your DVRed commercial will be watched.

PS: cimmercials aren't necessary a bad thing. it's information that you wouldn't have otherwise and allows you to make more informed decisions.

This is great news....this is what a lot of us have been saying from the beginning of these ratings talks. GO HEROES!!!
  • jamu · 1 month ago
I liked it,I think it makes a very good story line I mean Clairs neverreally had a Boyfriend other than that guy who can fly and today everythings alot more open so i think if there is a relationship or fling in there somewhere i would be good to the story line of hero's.
