I don't like Parkman... he's boring and he is not a great actor...
as soon as i read this piece i knew what we can expect in the coming season.
After all, Greg Grunberg initially wanted the role of Peter.
I'm glad he didn't make it.
He probably had a fallout with the writers regarding his bad storyline which made him useless to the show, so now they are trying to improve the character for him...
Oh well, I love the show... so i hope it gets better and better.

I don't really mind Parkman. I like the Terrorist more lol. He's hilarious. But Parkman isnt a very well-rounded character, and doesnt have that much of a good story. Greg isnt very good as an actor, and I'm extremely glad he didnt get Peter. The show wouldn't be the same. And does anyone else think the effect for reading minds is extremely lame? I die a little inside whenever they do it :S

I dont mind his character too much. not my fav, but not the worst either. Personally, i think its a cool power though to be able to control anything the mind controls and stuff.

Maybe Pinehearst is holding her grandmother hostage. I mena isn't that who Matt and Daphne named her after in the future. Maybe thats why they hate Peter so much in the future becuase he killed her grandmother. Heck i don't know lol

All the heroes working together? I wonder if that means Peter, Sylar and Hiro together - the three most powerful Heroes in the Heroes universe. As it is, with only Peter and Hiro, they could just freeze time and breeze through anyone in their path, bar the Haitian and Daphne (but in episode 6, Hiro even managed to freeze Daphne, maybe because she wasn't running).

So the most interesting thing about this article I think is *NOT* Parkman, but the Hunter. What power does he have? What makes him so sure he can get all the heroes by his own, except if he got a power like the Haitian and also other offensive powers? Can he fight head-on against Peter/Sylar (lighting, fire, telekinesis, nuclear etc) or even Hiro (time-stopping)? If Hiro had the guts, even Adam Monroe couldn't beat him. He could have just freeze time and cut off Adam's head.

Interesting. Can't wait for the Hunter to come into play.

they finished the first half of the season (which is until november/december)

Well, I do like Parkman, he is my favourite character, although I admit Greg Grunberg wouldn't fit for Peter Petrelli (this character had to be young and good-looking).

But don't say Greg is a bad actor just because you don't like his character. You have to get the difference between liking a character and liking an actor. In fact, Milo Ventimiglia isn't a good actor (he's received a LOT of critics because of his acting) but I like him and his character.

Greg Grunberg is good looking, how could you say he's not. I mean I've got a crush on him because he's so cute, I appreciate pretty faces, he has a handsome face, agree?? yes he's chubby that's why he seems to appeal not that hot. If he loose those weight a little, then we've got a hunk???right???

As for someone said that he's not a good actor, why does he's nominated for so how many times in his role in Heroes?? Only four characters are nominated for their respective roles, it's Hayden, Ali, Greg and of course MAsi..

Let's just wait for Matt Parkman character development in Heroes..and then look at him, he's handsome...

This looks interesting. I'm glad Parkman'll have something to do. What worries me is that Guantanamo bay situation. I'm worried and wondering where Claude will be for that.

I LOVE Matt's ability! I've been wishing I've had it ever since I was about 11 or 12 and I'm 20 now. If I could have any power from the show it would be that without a second or even first thought. I mean, yeah, I could have Peter's power and get Matt's power but I really wouldn't care about the other powers, just Matt's. I'm glad that they are adding more to his character. As for which characters I like best, I have no preference I just don't like Knox, his character has no soul!

I agree with 20something and leigh. Parkman has been a favorite of mine since the beginning I just could not wait for them to get rid of his awful wife. I also have a crush on him so I don't get where you can say he is not good looking. He may not be "hot" but I just love him. I am so happy he is getting a real storyline this season and I think he and Daphne are really cute together. I hope the story works out for them.

I am interested to see who is involved in the Guantanamo Bay situation.

I also wanted to say that I am sorry but Milo is not a good actor he is very lucky he is hot. Actually most of the cast is not great but I do think there are a few good one and Greg Grunberg is good and believeable as Matt.

I like Parkman but I agree they don't ever really use him or his powers in situations where he could. Think how many times Parkman used a gun when he should have used his mind-altering power. It could have worked in MANY situations. He could at least make people see stuff that wasn't there for his benefit.

Well, 311, I guess he wants to be more normal than weird by being able to sorta, "control thoughts" and "create illusions in their head"... using a gun usually is a safer way, since you might suddenly not be able to use your powers once in a while, or if it's your unlucky day, the Haitian is watching you =]

He is one of my most fav. characters, although he hasn't had much of a role, he seems the most normal out of them, balancing, and hes sort of a slow guy, never going all superhero like Peter, but now he's finally getting into the big picture, I hope he gets more to do!
