the picture above looks really cool. is that what will be on the dvd? unfair that it is released there earlier. i don't mean to be offensive, but, heroes was made here, shouldn't we get it first. sorry, if that sounds rude.

I need the region 1 copy. While my computer can play anything, I'd like to be able to watch on a big screen. Does anyone know if and when another bound collected GN book will be put out? I loved the 4 part Claude GN last summer.

Its probably being released in the U.K first cos we've just got season two on bbc right now and I'm guessing the series will end near that July date...

Means that people who've watched it can get it straight on dvd and the series will still be fresh in their minds. More people will buy it, meaning more money for them.

Amazon.co.uk has a habit of listing incorrect release dates for products across the board. I wouldn't read into this too much.
While it is possible, it simply isn't likely that the UK (where the season hasn't even finished airing yet) will get the DVD first. And with Amazon UK's track record for this kind of thing, the safest bet is that the release date they have listed is wrong.
