HeroestheSeries.com: LIVE EMMY UPDATE: Heroes Loses Best Drama to The Sopranos

Shame Heroes didn't win best drama, but seriosuly Terry O'Quinn deserves best supporting actor. He's about 1 million times the actor of Masi Oka and has never been recognised like this before

I'm not too bitter that Heroes got snubbed, as The Sopranos really was that good. I really wasn't holding out much hope for this category. And now that it's gone, we'll have a better shot next year.

I don't completely agree with ManBearPig, however, I think Masi Oka was spectacular throughout the entire first season of Heroes, and was really hoping he would win.

The Sopranos deserve it... Better luck next year Heroes ;)

I'm not sure about the Sopranos, but I shouldn't say anything as I've never seen it.

But props to O'Quinn. Masi Oka's awesome, don't get me wrong, but Lost has more cred to show, three seasons to one (even if the last season DID mostly suck), and Locke is probably one of the best if not THE best/most interesting character of the show.

Next year, tho. (Makes you wonder why Heroes wasn't up for MORE, tho, doesn't it?)

Terry O'Quinn has also had many more years of acting under his belt than Masi Oka, not to mention the fact that LOST has three seasons to show off Terry's acting skills and Heroes has only had one to show off Masi's acting skills.

And another thing. It was The Soprano's final season. Of course the Emmy for Best Drama is going to go to The Sopranos. It's been one of the most critically acclaimed dramas in recent years!

Just try not to be so Heroes-centric next time, because honestly, it's just being very close-minded.

That "Genesis" was the episode that was most represented can't have helped - had it been "Company Man" or "Five Years Gone" it might have been another story. Mind you, did you really think the Emmys weren't going to give "The Sopranos" a big sendoff?

On the upside, there's always next year (and hopefully Hayden will get a nomination this time instead of being shut out by everyone from an ABC show).

I can't believe you just accused someone who runs a Heroes website as being too "Heroes-centric". Say it ain't so!
