She is a mother... so of course her power is that of Super Guilt... and that may take the form of dreams, anything to get across her point, and allow her to manipulate those around her.

I think that she has this power of seeing the future in dreams. And talking about Peter's father. Maybe he's not dead and as his granddaughter, he cans regenerate himself. So, in some part of the history he has to appear.

so...from point A to point B...hmmmm....does it mean teleporting....it does say another hero has the same power here but she cld do it with much ease....

or....mayb BRIT is rite...mayb she can get smth from point A (her mind) to point B (smbody elses's mind//...in this case...peter's)..but which hero does this relate to???

n i definately think peter's dad's gonna make a comeback/...even if it is due to goin to the past or flashback...or "mysteriously: bein alive all along...

The dad is human. If you've read the Heroes novels found at www.nbc.com/Heroes/novels then you'd know why.

Also, just because the girl can regenerate, does not mean that so can the grand-dad. She is daughter of a Pyro and Flyboy. So that is not related. The only related thing is the genetic mutation that causes them to have certain abilities.

Well, they said her power was very similar to another, so it's probably someone related to her. I bet she can fly, but even faster. Or instant teleportation.

I also think that Claire can regenerate BECAUSE of who her parents are. It only makes sense that if your mother could burn you and your father could drop you and break you, that you should be able to regenerate.

oh ya sue, thats a bit interesting. k my theories of big momma petrelli are: she can manipulate dreams but she can do wot a certain hero can do, n beta, so i think shes an enhanced polygot just lyk sylar, but then ther woz mentionin that she gets frm a 2 b, so she must b able 2 teleport or fly or run. n how can she do dat- shes just lyk sylar or peter. oh and i think i knw whose peters big daddy- its between 3 ppl, linderman- he must hav a power, i mean cum on ppl, he said 2 nathan that in 2 yearz hes gna b a heartbeat away frm presidency, n i just watchd episode 18 n i think hiros father is a possible candidate, oh no- scratch that lol peter isnt japanese. ok so its between linderman and hrg- hrg has a power. he just has one ppl... ok. i got a hinch on what his power is- maybe teleportation. i watchd episode 12 i think- recently again n i saw that hrg removes his glasses n cleans it, then he puts it back on n he mysteriously appeard at that secret room in primatech corp. oh n i think thats big momma petrellis power... oh n sumthingz been bugn me, matts gf, janice seems 2 b 2 cool with his mind reading. oh n i havnt watchd episode 19 n 20 yet but i heard wat hapnd n its awesum. i think i knw the reason y peter n niki gets 2getha, jessica. i think peter also developes n alter ego n niki or jessica finds him attracted. n i do think that peter cauzed da explosion but he transformd in2 sylar n hiro stabd him n rewinded da healing process. he did da reverse thing when hope fired da gun. n as 4 candice... shes hot... pity shes gna die. ya n i wonda how big mamma petrelli can speak hatian french

Well, I was thinking instant running, like the Flash. Super, super fast, faster than Nathan's flying. Nathan flies really fast, but I don't think he flies at super speed or anything. I think he flies at what I would consider normal flying speed.. lol. She could RUN super, super fast, or just fly even faster, but I was thinking running with super speed, not just running fast. I don't personally find Nathan super flying fast, just normal flying fast. She could have instant teleportation, but from point A to point B makes it sound like actual travel, not just appearing somewhere. Hiro doesn't go from Point A to Point B, he jumps around time, so that'd be like... Point T, back to Point C.

Senses of humors are fun! I have way too many theories on Heroes. I run my own community, too, hehe, but I love sharing my ideas.

I think she has the power to foresee the future, but she can do it really fast and without painting pictures like Isaac which was time-consuming and he could only perform it by having a paintbrush in hand. I don't think it has to do with dreaming, at all. I think apart from the above quotes it's also implied in episodes 19 and 20, when she seems to know things that she couldn't have. Of course the Petrelli's father had powers, but he probably couldn't handle them, so he got really depressed and commited suicide.

I would think that Peter must have imitated his mother's power at one point or other without realising it... i doubt it's a power as physical as flight or super speed, probably something to do with intellect, as that would suit her character the best. Premonitions are the best bet, but she probably only has to close her eyes to get them, instant predictions.

oh ya... I always thought that Simone has a power... becasue whenever she's around, peter gets that future dreams, like in episode 7... she said b4 her dad died, he said peter flied with him n said its all gonna b ok, becuz hes gna save the world... and peter dreamt about that.......... :| :) but im beginning to think that thats big momma petrellis power more and more... ooh future claire is so hottt! ;)

I agree with Kenshi... All of Peter's premonitive episodes are in dreams, right? I really think Mama P. is like a mix of that indian boy and Isaac. Skytz, you said the dad is 'human'. Do you mean just normal?

I believe she either has teleportation, super running speed (although that doesn't seem too likely with the way she dresses, her hair should be all froofy ;p ) or the ability to be in multiple places at once -a la multiple man- i.e. to have like a duplicate or "other self' somewhere else/be in 2 places at once..well that's my interpretation. But, personally i would go for the teleportation, which is Hiro's ability..but meh

i believe that mrs.petrellis does have the ablility to see in her dreams either the future, alternate or possible realites, or combinations of the possible future along with the present and perhaps even the past, this would go along with someone else's power's because its like issac's but only faster and eaiser so it gets to the point faster; she is also older and may have learned to control this power some how (when i dream i often know that i am a sleep and can either wake my self up or sometimes even manipulate them a little; perhaps this is how she controls it)

Also if peter's powers had manifested earlier than we know of his moms powers probably would not even be apparent.

OK OK I have something to throw into this mix, after watching episode 21, and seeing Ice Queen Mama Petrelli cooly tell her son how to be Presidental like Truman with the A-Bomb, and I have to say, her power is obviously being a cold hearted B***h, knowing full well her son Peter is going to explode, she still sends Nathan off to be a good dutiful soldier. This got me thinking, perhaps Mama Petrelli's other additional talent is being able to give birth to fine strapping Heroes, or even donating her eggs for artificial insemination. This could make Hiro be related to the Petrelli's, because some how George Tekai has something to do with Linderman. But as a stab in the dark at her abilities, I recon she's like Jessica/Nikki but a proper blending of the Psycho/Showgirl talent. Anyway with only 2 episodes to go either way in a fortnight we're all gonna have a little more light shone on the subject

also one thing that i forgot to say earlier i hope that they some how explain why so many people suddenly manifested there powers at the exact same time. In xmen most of them where suppose to find there powers during adolescene but these people are all different ages, i havn't seen anything that would explain why so many got there's at the same time at different ages, and there where so many others that already had there's, so other than to say that someone was keeping the key players in all this from manifesting i just don't see what could explain this

one more thing if claire healed as a baby after being in a fire, how (even with the haitain altering everyones memmories) can she not know of this earlier, i mean when i was younger i got a cut scratch broke arm nose something like almost everyday or at least a few times a week

i think that yours is an interesting question but i think i have an answer. during pilot was there not an eclipse. i think by some astrological phenomenon their abilities were sparked. there was probably something like this in the previous generation. however this spark was probably only needed for abilities which the heroes didnt do spontaneosly aergo why claire survived the fire as a baby. however i think that she would have been to young to remember it happening.

West Monroe, I get the impression that this sudden upsurge in mutation had something to do with the Solar eclipse, but then again all the main characters seemed to be manifesting at least 6 months before that event, so perhaps its solar related, or maybe the significance of the Eclipse was that it signaled a migration for these mutated humans, much like an autumn frost tells animals to start stocking up on food for winter.
Also, Im beginning to think I have wayyyy to much time on my hands

i don't know but for something that's suppose to be so rare some of the normal people in the story have meet a lot of these heroes (mutants) like peter's dad, according to the novels he was in the war with linderman where he came across the little girl but these to could be because he was sent by the army i relized that, but he also married peter's mom and i just know she's going to have some power (in the novel they where together before linderman came back and a child was playing on the floor assumably nathan so that one couldn't be lindermans son) so how are the normal people suppose to fit into a migration pattern

By the way i don't know about to much time on my hands but i know im at this computer to much

Well the series started with the premis that Mohinder's father wrote a book called "Activating Evolution", now Im thinking considering theres going to be at least a 2 year story arc, and no doubt plenty of offshoot comic books, then the central aspect to the story is the Evolution of the species. In 5 Years gone, Nathan/Sylar says to Mohinder that the numbers are increasing exponentially, and yet Suresh says they are a completely different species with hard-coded DNA, not just activated gene sequences, but completely different gene sequences to normal humans. Coupled with this the mention of the ancient Japanese hero Kensi, I think they are trying to say somewhere down reproductive tree of our species something new was introduced, rather than just the human species is in transformation, its actually being made extinct by the eventual uprising of these mutants. So in essence the migration drive thats going on is to get them to meet up, mate, create more mutants and eventual food chain domination, like what happens in nature.
See what I mean about having way too much time on my hands *chuckles*

I think that peter's mom has the ability to manipulate people. seriously... when that time nathan wanted to go after claire when she jumped out of the building, nathan wanted to go then the mom touched his arm and there was a sudden change in his eyes or something. i mayb rong mostly. :D

Mama Petrelli's power may be the ability to see the past, present and future in her dreams. Peter didn't exactly dream of the future when Nathan had his accident. It's similar to Isaac and Sanjog (the boy Mohinder dreamt of) but it's easier to manipulate than Isaac's. It kinda explains Peter's premonitions... @_@

i believe her power is to have premonitions at will because it was said that it takes a lot less effort to get from point a to point b so it must be the abillity to have premonitions at will cuz she herself said that she knew about both nathans and peters powers long before they did

i have a theory that after watching ep2 and hearing that mama petrelli and kaito nakamura had a "one time" thing i believe that hiro is their love child. making mama petrellis power teleportation but it comes easier to her than to hiro (hence otherwise he wouldn't be stuck in the past).

I think kensei is the first hero, the adam if you will and i think he has all the powers.
I think Angela Petrelli has the power of manipulation, because i think she is the one that manipulates nathan's appearance.

I think the dreams come from Charles, simply because he's twice been connected with Peter's dreams. I doubt the A to B statement is literal, though.

I think her power is astral projection and when she (or peter) sleeps their astral forms are free to roam through time and space and that is also how she is able to be able to be anywhere cause she knows (and also maybe why she saw peter in the future if the virus was released cause peter did feel like it was a dream)

as for the astral projection i think he got it from charles because of all the time he spent with him and charles told simone that he had a dream where he and peter were flying together and charles spoke to peter in that one dream and his mom couldnt see himbut charles knew he was there. it was said sometime before that her power is a travel power but i dont know.. we will have to see i guess.. and when will we see someone with the ability to clone themselves? that would be sweet maybe thats one of the villains that would be cool.

I red that angela's power has been seen alredi, but used by peter, and as the first power peter displays is having dreams of the future, anglea's power must be that, or her power may be hidden in a scene and no one has noticed it, but used by peter without noticing it

i think Angela has the opposite power of the Hatian, he can take memories, and she can search for memories and then give it back, or put it into their mind,

When peter went to the future withought knowing it, she told him to remember, and then he remembered everything, even from about the time he was born, those memories he shouldn´t have, but she put it into his memory again.

I haven´t seen any episodes of the new season, it starts today, so if i am wrong and everyone already knows her power, then oops :)
