Heroes 4.11 Thanksgiving Discussion Thread
The "maybe more" will more than likely be that she'll have an ability (ie, they're both "special").
But all that aside, yes the story should come first and that's the thing. how does that fit in character? Claire's had a different boyfriend every season. BUT, the whole "college phase" thing could fit in with this. It could be an "experimental" thing, not that she's goin all out lesbian.
And to the guy rejecting the "fall in lust" ability. i didn't really ever think about it but I think that ability would work on the show, but not like how you mentioned. Someone who can make other's fall in love with her, or make them think she's more attractive than she already is (I'm guessing for the girls, cause she's not bad looking). But, on top of that, make people want to trust her more. So that she has no problem getting people to do what she wants.
As for Masi Oka's other project, that looks interesting.
First off what is the big deal with girl on girl, okay i get a lot of guys like that but really with all the ways to watch better girl on girl action do you really need to see it on a show like heros. I am almost 100% sure if it was to guys this show would be over by the next episode. Also it's not like you don't get enough of that stuff on every other teen base show.

I also think if they followed through with the two girls actually falling in love, this could provide the necessary kick to push Calire to the dark side in the future scenes if Gretchen were to be killed off (having presumably no powers of her own). As commented by others, 2 guys don't make a straight, and there haven't really been any serious love interests.
Honestly, I don't know if some of you guys (Gary...) are homophobic or what, but I think it could potentially be making a decent point if it's executed well - Claire's 'normal' life includes her being gay. As for too many gays on tv, it's life so why shouldn't it be shown on tv too? The more it is, the more people will get over themselves and start to accept that some people are gay and many people have a first experience before considering that they might be.
Whichever route they take, at the end of the day it probably will boost the ratings at least temporarily, which should be good news for any true fans of the show!
