I would be incredibly mad if Peter was adopted! Hayden and Milo are together in real life, that's fine - but it doesn't and shouldn't dictate what happens on the show! I highly doubt that they are unrelating Peter and Claire, just to get them together - I think that's already being done on 'Brothers and Sisters.' And I completely disagree that Peter doen't look like the rest of the Patrelli's; one of the characters's that he and Adam tracked down said that he looked like his mum. I personally think that Hiro is the one that's adopted.

Its not peter he SO looks like a petrelli. i believ theyre refering to sylar cuz sylar WAS adopted according to mrs petrelli, even though his features dont fit into the look-alike-family. its an awesome plot twist but im wondering if it was another of her infamous lies or if maybe she had an affair with another of the 12 members...........(mr nakamura ehem)

kristen also said that sylar is the one who has a conection to one of the other good heroes. i think sylar is gona end up being the adopted one.maybe hes really related to the petrellis or something???

lol its true i never couldve seen it coming, but they played it out very well and im impressed. i dont think that theyre twins tho.... maybe cuz if theyre not then whose older and whose sylar's dad? how does nathan feel about this?

Sylar being a Petrelli would be awesome. I could see him teaming up with Peter to take down some sort of greater threat. After all, we've seen a few occasions where Sylar appears to have a conscience. Maybe the fact that Peter and him are brothers will change him in someway. Then again, I really just wanna see the both of them kick some Company ass!

Im hoping for Sylar to be the one whos adopted and part of the Petrelli Family. It'll make the line "Brother Vs Brother, It's almost Biblical" all the more sweeter.
I am however 12% sure it'll be Hiro who turns out to be the one.

Im sick of Monica and Micah. They annoy me! Have Sylar destroy them, thankyou.

i'm guessing wesly's adopted,& he's actaully peter's clone like superboy & scarlet spider. The company created him w/ peter's blood when peter's in the company. remember "Four month ago? Nathan looks at peter's high school,& west's look like peter in teen years. Remember he peeps claire's window? He have some peter's memories. Claire's dating peter's clone. They're dating in the future,& he's look a lot like peter & same abilities as peter in the future. Claire shot wesly, peter's clone. Future peter orders him 2 goes back in time & kill her dad. So she went w/ hiro in the past & tried 2 talk him out, but she kill wesly.

the thought occurred to me that maybe Elle is adopted and is Claire's cousin (originally she was supposed to be her older sister but there were too many plot holes-not to mention the fact that Meredith would have had to have had her at a ridiculously young age).

Heard a rumour ages ago, and possibly was just that. Sylar has a brother who was adopted by Daniel Linderman who was also weirdly called Dan. Can anyone else confirm that they have heard this and I am not simply going nuts thinking about all this stuff too much. We know Sylar has siblings who his mother believed were much better than him but then why would a sibling have been adopted?

it would be funny yet stupid at the same time that if this rumour just turned out that mohinder adopts molly (legally) or matt does. then again that wouldnt really change everything.. maybe Elle is adopted maybe bishop adopted her like benet adopted clair and maybe clair and elee do share the same momElle doest look that much older then her like maybe 6 years at most clair is what 16 in the show Elle could easily be early 20s 20 21 22 23 or something and maybe the aparment caught on fire and both girls were taken from their mom and adoptedsame mom different dad perhaps hmm i dunno i do think the peter sylar thing is quite possible as well and would definitly change everything

hey elle is 24 (4 months ago episode) and the only reason the two girls are connected are because where bob was all for testing elle, noah hid claire from the company in an attempt to avoid testing

Makes more sense that Peter is adopted by the company and placed with the Petrellis to keep him under control after all he was a major player in mr. lindermans plan. Then again Sylar has no genetic marker except for the whole TK bit his whole aptitude thing never even registered.

During the 1st season the company never even tries to interfere with
Sylar or Peter but I suppose if you were pupetering them then putting
them in cages would make it hard for you...Peter is the least favorite in his family. (treated like the proverbial redheaded step child)

This doesn't mean that Peter and Clair are going to hook up, that would
just be weired.

Peter and Sylar are biological brothers separated at birth to manipulate their lives like they did with Nikki and DL. If Peter found out Sylar was his real brother and not Nathan it might cause him to make some questionable choices in the name of family or out of anger for all the lies he was told. They do a lot of biblical referances on
the show...Adam, Eve, brother vz brother.

Sylar…definitely…I'm down with the Good Brother VS. Bad Brother. Yeah me too. That wud be totally awesome. A cool twist!! That may very explain why Sylar is working so close with Angela Petrelli in Volume 3?

But wudn't Nathan & Peter know about Sylar {Gabriel Gray} from an early age? Or maybe Angela could have sent a young Sylar away with Arthur Petrelli so Nathan & Peter wudn't know about him? Angela telling them that Arthur died cud be just a hoax? I am just thinking out loud here.

The only other character I can think of who is adopted, is Hiro as Angela & Kaito had an affair.

On a side note; I much prefer Micah to West & Monica.

I think it is sylar or hiro that is adopted since kristin from E! mentioned that Angela petrelli Actually has 3 children!.. && Angela & hiro's father were friends so it could be possible..but that wouldn't make a great twist in the show!
So im gonna go with saying its sylar that is definatley adopted since he does she a striking resemblance to the petrelli brothers!..
Now that will cause some drama!

It's probably gonna be either; Sylar is related to the Petrelli's, Peter is adopted [ and maybe that's why Future Claire said to him 'i always loved you' or something or it could be that Elle and Claire are connected somehow. But i guess we'll just have to wait and find out.

Do you remember something Christine Rose said this summer at an interview? She was at an interview for something with several other actors, and someone asked her about her connection with Hiro. She said, and please correct me if I've misquoted, "I've always thought that Hiro was my lovechild with Kaito Nakamura".

She may have seemed to have joked about it, but do you think that it's possible that she leaked a possible spoiler for season 3? There's also the possiblity that Arthur Petrelli also had a child with someone that Angela didn't know about, and if that's true - the identity of that person is unknown.

Tim Kring left a lot of puzzles to be answered, and more to be solved in season 3.

What have you heard that makes you think Ando's a Petrelli? I mean, Hiro's got some kind of link with Kaito and Angela, but Ando's pretty out of left field (although I have to say I'm pretty spoiler free when it comes to this season, so maybe it's spoilers you've been reading up on).

Personally I think - and hope - that it's Sylar. Ando or Hiro being a Petrelli wouldn't "change everything". Who would? The serial killer everyone hates and who's tried to kill them actually being related to the good guys. Now THAT is what you call a game changer. Plus the way Angela's been talking to Sylar in the promos just makes it seem like he's her son. YMMV.

maybe west is angela and arthur petrelli son, he wud be the youngest and coz of peter they didnt want complications so he got adopted or that was wen they realised the company was bad and they didnt want the company to take west from them.

If there's an adoption, I'd say either Sylar's a Petrelli and was adopted out (and Nathan was adopted in) or Peter was originally a Gray (Sylar's brother) and was adopted by the Petrellis. Peter and Gabriel's powers are too similar.

I bet the adoption reveal will be that elle is adopted and her grandma is clairs mom i know shes alder then clair but waht if clair reached her non aging age like adam when he discovered he had powers.. Elle said she accidentally set her grandmas house on fire and clair was discovered in a burning house... connection anyone...?
