Saw "Shanghai Kiss" at the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival. Hayden's one of the best parts of the film -- she gets a fair amount of screen time and can definitely be considered a love interest. (Won't say more!)

I love Shanghai Kiss, the movie does have adult language and adult content, but outside of that Liam Liu (Ken Leung) is a man who must decide what is more important to him. living in Shanghai, China where he feels at home, but he was raised in Los Angeles, California and is loved by a sweet American caucasian high schooler Adelaide Bourbon (Hayden Panettiere) who loves him unconditionally. later, he realizes that Adelaide was real and his girl from Shanghai was still in love with Byron Mann and betrayed Liam to get his grandfather's house. If I was in a situation like that, Hayden would be more important than a house left by my grandfather, I understand family is just as important as a girl who loves me, but at the price of losing a girl who means much more, I would hold on to her, and leave the house with someone who was trust worthy.
